Scholarships and bursaries There are numerous scholarships that MSc Information Systems and Information Management students may be eligible for. What you study Our MSc Information Systems and Information Management equips you with the necessary skills and knowledge to engage with the information society and digital economy as organisational leaders, innovators and entrepreneurial managers. Learn to understand, integrate and critically analyse contemporary information systems and information management research and theories, and related business and management trends - and effectively apply them to organisational contexts. You will be able to select and use appropriate contemporary information tools and techniques to critically analyse and solve complex management problems and challenges in a holistic way. Learning and assessment Teaching is by lectures, seminars and workshops and all classes are designed to offer an interactive learning experience. Extensive use is made of IT and a wide range of materials are available to enable students to study at their own pace and in their own time to enhance and extend the material taught formally. Assessment is by course work and written exams which take place at the end of the semester in which the module is taught. What facilities are available You will be based in the business school which is an impressive building blending traditional gothic and contemporary architecture. Here you will have access to a number of facilities including a dedicated wireless Postgraduate Study Centre, a Postgraduate IT cluster, the Yorkshire Bank Lecture Theatre and Western Lecture Theatre, both are equipped with audio-visual technology.
