Master of Science Course in Clinical Dentistry
The MSc in Clinical Dentistry (Restorative Dentistry) by distance learning programme is designed for holders of the Faculty of General Dental Practice (UK) [FGDP (UK)] Diploma in Restorative Dentistry. This 12 month course is formally articulated with the FGDP and provides a flexible way for you to convert the FGDP diploma to a MSc in Clinical Dentistry in a general or specialist dental practice. It aims to build on your knowledge and experience to extend your academic reach and further develop your research skills. The course focuses on the development and completion of original research. You will be equipped with an understanding of research methodology and statistical application, good practice and philosophy of research, in addition to enhancing your scientific writing and data presentation skills. The distance learning nature of the programme means you can work towards an MSc in Clinical Dentistry with minimal on-campus commitments while you continue with your dental practice.
